Good to know.

What counts as an active student?

Anyone with at least one lesson in the month. Students who are on a break or archived don’t count, so you never pay for an old list.

What happens if we grow past our plan?

Nothing sudden. You get a 10% margin, and we only suggest the next plan after two months over the limit.

Do you take a cut of our tuition?

No. When online payments arrive, card and bank fees are passed through at the payment provider’s cost, with no Dafola markup. Canadian pre-authorized debit costs far less than cards.

Is there a contract?

No. Pay monthly and cancel any time, or pay yearly and get two months free. You can export your data whenever you like.

Where is our data stored?

In Canada. Families’ details, lessons and invoices are stored in Canadian data centres.

Do you charge HST?

Yes, prices are plus HST. Music lessons are usually exempt from HST, which means academies can’t claim it back, so we keep our prices simple and in Canadian dollars.
